This is a great drawing of a motocross bike in a mountainous landscape! Here are some suggestions for coloring it while learning and exploring the details of this scene.

Motocross colouring ideas and tips

For the rider and the bike, think about how colors and details can bring realism and movement to the scene. Choose a color that stands out for the rider’s helmet and gear, such as red, blue, or green, which are common in motocross. By adding shadows in the folds of the clothing and areas of the helmet, you’ll give the impression that the rider is in action, tackling challenging terrain. The motorcycle itself has complex parts like the tires, engine, and frame. You can use a dark or black tone for the tires and a metallic gray for the engine and frame parts. If you want the tires to look worn or dirty, add a touch of brown or gray around the edges, as if it’s covered in dust from the mountain. For the mountainous background, imagine the different layers of color in a real mountain. Use shades of gray or brown for the closer peaks, and then softer or bluish colors for the more distant ones, as if they are covered in mist or are far-off mountains. This will give the drawing depth and make the landscape seem to stretch towards the horizon. Finally, for an extra touch of realism, you can add dust or small clouds of dirt behind the bike to simulate the movement and speed at which it’s traveling.
