Ideas for colouring your castle
This castle drawing is super fun to color, and it allows you to use all your imagination. Imagine that this is your magical castle!Colors:
- Castle walls: You can use light grays or browns for the castle walls, giving it a stone or brick look. If you prefer something more magical, you can use colors like pink, blue, or purple to create a fairytale castle!
- Towers: For the towers and roofs, you can use bright colors like red, gold, or even deep blue to make them stand out. If you love fantasy, you could use metallic colors to make the towers shine like they’re made of gold or silver.
- Hearts and details: The hearts on the castle walls are perfect for adding fun and vibrant colors like pink, red, or yellow. Make those hearts pop!
Techniques:
- Shadows and lights: If you want it to look more realistic, you can add shadows on the bottom parts of the towers or behind the windows with a gray or black pencil. Use lighter colors on the top part of the castle as if the sun is shining on it.
- Sky and clouds: If you want to color the sky around the castle, you can use light blue or soft lilac. For the clouds, you can use white or a very soft blue, blending the edges with cotton to make them look fluffy.
Additional materials:
- Glitter and stickers: If you have glitter, you can use it on the details of the castle or the hearts to give it a magical and shiny touch. Magical castles need to sparkle!
- Pastel chalks: You can use pastel chalks to make a soft sky or to add a hint of color in the clouds or the surrounding area.
