Free coloring pages of King Gorilla

This coloring page shows a huge gorilla with a serious expression, seated on a throne full of intricate details. He wears a large, richly decorated crown and a cape draped powerfully over his shoulders. The whole image conveys more than just strength: there is calm, firmness… even a sense of wisdom. And that makes it different from other animal drawings.

The lines are very well defined, so there’s little risk of coloring outside them by accident. The details on the throne, the leaves around it, and the fur’s texture let you play with earth tones, deep greens, or even colors you wouldn’t normally use for an animal. If someone feels like painting the cape violet or the crown turquoise, that works too. There are no rules. Honestly, this drawing has it all: symmetrical structure for those who enjoy visual order, broad areas to add color without stress, and smaller spaces for those who prefer to work with precision. It’s useful both for relaxation and to practice patience and focus—no need to be an art expert. It’s great for the classroom, too. For example, it can be an excuse to talk about gorilla habitats, the symbolism of the throne, or ways to show power without words. With just paper, pencils, and a little attention, this drawing provides more than one possible activity. It prints in A4 without losing quality. You can use colored pencils, markers, or even watercolor if the paper is suitable. And best of all: it has no marks or elements that interrupt the experience.
