About this drawing

A Minecraft bulldozer is a great fit for the first half of the game's name. Minecraft combines two words: mine, as in digging for resources, and craft, as in making things. Dig up materials, then craft them into tools and buildings, and you have the whole idea of the game.

A typical Survival world starts with punching a tree to collect wood. That wood becomes a crafting table, then a wooden pickaxe, which can finally break stone. From there players climb a ladder of better tools, from stone to iron and, with a little luck, diamond.

The deeper you dig, the better the treasure. Coal and iron show up close to the surface, while gold, redstone and diamonds hide far below, where caves get darker and monsters get bolder.

There are no bulldozers in the game itself, so fans build blocky machines like this one to decorate their quarries and mining camps. It is a fun tribute to the digging that has been at the heart of Minecraft since its very first version. At the very bottom, every world ends at bedrock, an unbreakable floor that keeps players from digging out of the map.
