Off-Road Explorer

About this drawing

A Minecraft Hummer is the perfect ride for a world as varied as the game's. Every new world creates a nearly endless map split into biomes, areas with their own weather, plants and animals waiting to be discovered.

You can find deserts with cactus and hidden temples, jungles packed with vines, parrots and pandas, snowy taigas where foxes roam, dry savannas and towering frozen peaks. Under the ocean there are coral reefs and sunken ruins, and deep underground you can stumble into enormous caves.

Each world is built from a code called a seed. Type in the same seed as a friend and you will get the exact same map, which is why fans love sharing seeds that start next to dramatic cliffs, villages or ocean monuments.

There are no cars in the game, so explorers travel on foot, on horseback, by boat or by minecart. A blocky off-roader like this is every adventurer's dream for reaching the next biome before nightfall. Exploring pays off, too. Long journeys turn up shipwrecks, abandoned mineshafts, desert pyramids and other structures packed with treasure chests, so curious players are often rewarded with rare loot and amazing views.
