About this drawing

Sonic team vs robot scenes show a team that did not start out friendly. Shadow and Silver both arrived as rivals to the blue hedgehog, yet over the years they have stepped in to help when a threat gets too big for one hero.

Shadow debuted in 2001 as a dark, serious hedgehog with red streaks, created in his story to be the ultimate life form. He keeps up with Sonic thanks to jet-powered shoes and can use a Chaos Emerald for Chaos Control, a move that bends time and space.

Silver joined in 2006, claiming to come from a ruined future. His silver quills fan out at the front, and his real strength is psychokinesis. He lifts objects with his mind, hurls them at enemies and can even hover, so he wins fights with focus rather than speed.

The giant robot is pure Sonic tradition. Doctor Eggman loves sending huge machines as end-of-level bosses, and beating them takes careful timing, quick dodges and a well-placed jump. When all three hedgehogs combine speed, power and mind tricks, even the biggest machine does not stand much of a chance, and the robot usually ends up as a pile of scrap.
