Wonder Woman Gives a Thumbs-Up for the Justice League

About this drawing

Justice League Wonder Woman is one of DC's most famous pairings. The Justice League is DC's top superhero team, and Wonder Woman was a founding member alongside Superman, Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter.

The team first appeared in comics in 1960. The idea was to bring the most powerful heroes together to face threats none of them could beat alone, from alien invasions to villains bent on taking over the world.

Inside the League, Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman form a special trio. Fans call them the Trinity because they are DC's three biggest characters. Wonder Woman brings her strength and her experience as a warrior, but above all her sense of fairness and kindness.

The Justice League has starred in cartoons, video games and movies. In every version, Wonder Woman shows that teamwork makes everyone stronger and that the best teams are the ones where each member brings something different. Kids often play at forming their own leagues with friends, each choosing a hero to be. Whoever plays Wonder Woman usually ends up being the one who keeps the group together and makes sure everyone is treated fairly.
